Amazing movie! Very cleverly put together with genuine chills & terror. I think I must have first seen this when I was small, as some of the more intense scenes feel like flash-backs or recurring nightmares - AWESOME!!!

This was not a great movie, but it was good enough. The story was fine, the humor well played, and the acting was good. Having never read the graphic novel, I enjoyed the premise quite a bit. Not sure what else to say. If you have some free time, this is worth a see, but I wouldn't cancel any plans to see it in the theater. It can wait for DVD.

I'm very disappointed with this movie. I am not a huge fan of Brandon Routh, (Superman Returns was just terrible), but his acting in this movie is unbelievably bad and he seemed to be trying to hard to portray the main character, almost Ben Affleck bad. Peter Stormare was awesome and Taye Diggs was good too, but the movie was still bad even with them it in. The special effects were lacking. The werewolves looked like hairy demons from hell with pointy ears and the zombies were kind of funny with mold and the replacement parts (one point of the movie that was pretty good). They did a better job with the vampires. The movie was described as a comedy-horror. The movie really isn't funny and its not really scary or horror material. If anything its a crappy version of a mix of Constantine and Van Helsing and the big bad looks like Baraka from Mortal Kombat. Did not seem as if there was an original thought in this movie. Bottom line, do not see this movie unless you want to see a bad movie.
